The Renton Innovation Zone Partnership (RIZP) Kick-Off Event

On September 28th from 2-5pm at the Renton Pavilion, join the Renton Innovation Zone Partnership (RIZP) for our Kick-Off Event! Parents/Guardians of students at Bryn Mawr, Campbell Hill, Highlands and Lakeridge Elementary schools are invited to learn more about the Renton Innovation Zone Partnership.

There will be kids activities, community based organizations, highlights of the RIZP work and an opportunity to network over lunch and light refreshments.

Spanish, Vietnamese and Somali interpreters will be available.

What is the Renton Innovation Zone Partnership (RIZP)?

The Renton Innovation Zone Partnership (RIZP) connects communities and schools to improve the well-being of children and their academic performance in the service areas of four elementary schools in the Renton School District: Bryn Mawr, Campbell Hill, Highlands and Lakeridge.

We serve students, parents and families who reside in the Skyway/West-Hill and Renton Highlands area, also known as the Renton Innovation Zone (RIZ).

How will it impact my student(s)?

We are working to ensure that every child feels safe, supported, connected, inspired to learn and is thriving.

We want to place relationships among partners and with the community by:

• Increasing the quality and availability of high-quality learning experiences
• Meeting the basic needs with an initial focus on house stability
• Cultivating community and family priorities by connecting families and students to resources.

Our goal by the 2022-23 school year is at least:

• 78% of children will be academically, physically, socially and emotionally ready for kindergarten
• 74% of 3rd graders will meet English Language Arts proficiency target
• 74% of 4th graders will meet Mathematics proficiency target

Help us to create healthy learning opportunities for all children. Your efforts help make our work in the Renton Innovation Zone possible.

Renton Innovation Zone Partnership (RIZP) là gì ?
